more, " sub-title "Police, " said new section to come under
sub-title and to follow immediately as Section 777A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, as the same was amended and re-enacted by
Chapter 567 of the Acts of 1912, be and the same is hereby
amended and re-enacted, by the addition of a new section, to
come under the sub-title "Police, " to follow immediately after
Section 777, and be known as Section 777A.

777A. The said Board of Police Commissioners are hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to include the Signal and
Telephone Operators of the various Station Houses of Balti-
more City, within the provisions of Section 777 of this Article,
so that they may enjoy the same rights and privileges and
benefits, subject to the same limitations and conditions, as are
therein prescribed and conferred for the retiring of the mem-
bers of the Police Force for said City of Baltimore, provided,
however, that the said Signal and Telephone Operators of the
several Station Houses of Baltimore City shall pay into the
Special Fund the regular percentage, from the time of their
appointment, with interest in addition to the regular per-
centage, required under this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and sixteen.

CHAPTER 456.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with, amendments the Charter
of the Town of Brunswick, in Frederick County, as said
Charter was enacted by Chapter 495 of the Acts of General
Assembly of Maryland of I898 and amended by Chapter
482 of the Acts of General Assembly of 1900 and by Chap-
ter 520 of the Acts of General Assembly of 1904 and, by
Chapter 158 of the Acts of General Assembly of 1908 and
by Chapters 511 and 601 of the Acts of General Assembly
of 1910 and by Chapter 660 of the Acts of General Assem-
bly of 1912 and by Chapters 20 and 180 of the Acts of
General Assembly of 1914.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 495 of the Acts of General Assembly
