SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of, June, in the year one

AN ACT to repeal sections 196, 197, 199 and 209Q of Article
Number One of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Mining and Mine
Inspector, " as the same were enacted by Chapter 124 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed in the
year 1902, and to re-enact said sections with, amendments,
so as to place the inspection of mines in Allegany County
under the State Board of Labor and Statistics; and to repeal
sections 150, 151, 153 and 164P of Article Number Twelve
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Gar-
rett County, " sub-title "Manufactures and Mines, " as the
same were enacted by Chapter 124 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland passed in the year 1902, and
to re-enact said sections with amendments, so as to place the
inspection of mines in Garrett County under the State Board
of Labor and Statistics.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 196, 197, 199 and 209Q of Article
Number One of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Mining and Mine Inspect-
or, " as the same were enacted by Chapter 124 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland passed in the year 1902,
be and the same hereby are repealed and re-enacted with amend-
