enacted or which may be hereafter enacted in relation to agri-
cultural colleges and agricultural experiment stations, exten-
sion work in agriculture and instruction and extension work
in the mechanic arts, are hereby granted and conveyed,
to and imposed upon The Maryland State College of Agri-
culture to be enjoyed and carried out by it in the same
manner as they have heretofore been enjoyed and carried out
by the Maryland Agricultural College, or as may appear to
the best interests of the purpose or purposes for which they
were created, and The Maryland State College of Agriculture
is hereby named and appointed by the State of Maryland to
receive all moneys, appropriations and grants now or hereafter
coming to the State of Maryland, from the United States Gov-
ernment, under any Acts of Congress now in force or hereafter
to be passed for the purpose or purposes above named.

SEC. 9. Be it further enacted, That the title of all the prop-
erty of the State of Maryland, real, personal and mixed, of any
kind or character now used or operated by or in possession of
the Maryland Agricultural College and the Maryland Experi-
ment Station, at College Park or elsewhere, be and the same is
hereby transferred to and vested in the corporation named in
Section 1 of this Act, The Maryland State College of Agricul-
ture.

SEC. 10. Be it further enacted, That the Attorney General
of the State shall be the legal adviser of such Board of Trustees.
He shall institute and prosecute all suits in their behalf.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1916, and all Acts in conflict
with the provisions of the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 373.

AN ACT providing for the encouragement of the keeping of
honey-bees by the suppression of bee diseases, through in-

spection and the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge
of bees, under the direction of the State Board of Agricul-
ture, by adding nine new sections to Article 48, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, to follow Section 74, of said
Article, and to be known as Sections 74a, 74b, 74c, 74d,
74e, 74f, 74g, 74h and 74 i.
