SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Trustees of the Patapsco Academy cre-
ated by an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, Chapter
261, of the Acts of 1908, be and they are hereby authorized to
sell at private sale for a sum not less than Seventeen Hundred
Dollars ($1700), being the cost thereof to the State of Mary-
land or at public auction to the highest bidder after giving the
usual notice required for the sale of real estate, all that prop-
erty known as the Patapsco Academy and grounds acquired by
the State of Maryland by deed from Louisa L. Shipley, et al.,
dated November 10, 1908, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of Anne Arundel County in Liber G. W. No. 64, folio
142, etc.
SEC. 2. That upon sale of said property as in Section one
provided, the Governor of Maryland is hereby authorized and
directed to convey to the purchaser or purchasers thereof by
proper deed of conveyance the property aforesaid and the
funds derived from said sale, after deducting accrued expenses
of said Academy including the cost of sale and transfer not
exceeding Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars, shall be paid over
by the Trustees of the Patapsco Academy created under Act of
1908, aforesaid, unto the County School Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County, who shall place the same to the credit
of the school fund created by bond sale for the purchase of site
and erection of a public school between Linthicum Heights
and Shipley Station in Anne Arundel County, as provided by
the Act of the Present General Assembly of Maryland of 1916,
approved February 29th, 1916, and which said money when so
paid unto the County School Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County shall be used for the same purpose as the other funds
derived under said Act of 1916, and be considered as an ad-
dition thereto.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That the said Trustees of
Patapsco Academy shall make full report of their acts here-
under to the General Assembly of Maryland of Nineteen Hun-
dred and Eighteen.

AN ACT to repeal Article LXXV-A of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Public Accountant, " (Bagby's
Edition) and re-enact the same with amendments.
