provided, however, that if the surety upon said bond be au
approved surety company said bond may be for the full term
of said clerk, and an annual receipt showing payment of pre-
mium, executed by such surety company, shall be filed by the
clerk with the approval of the court endorsed thereon, which
receipt shall be recorded in like manner as the original bond;
and where the Circuit Court for any county is held in Decem-
ber, such court shall be deemed a Fall term within the mean-
ing of this Section.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
June 1st, 1916.

CHAPTER 324.
AN ACT to refund to John C. Lamar, the sum of money paid
in error to the State Treasurer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer
payable to John C. Lamar of Frederick County, Maryland,
for the amount of Forty-eight Dollars and Fifty Cents, said
amount being due to the said John C. Lamar as taxes erron-
eously paid by him to the State Treasurer on an erroneously
assessed judgment as per the certificate attached.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and six-
teen.

CHAPTER 325.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 1 to 23 (inclusive), 25, 26, 27, 28,
and 31 of Article 46 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, title "Inheritance, " in Bagby's Annotated
Code of said Laws; and to enact in lieu thereof four new
sections of Article 46, to be known as Sections 1, 2, 3 and
4 of said Article; thereby assimilating the law relating to
