a license for the sale of spirituous, fermented or intoxicating
liquors in this State revoked, nor have they nor any of them
been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor at any time
within one year preceding the filing of said petition; eleventh,
that only one bar shall be maintained or conducted under or by
virtue of the license applied for and that no gambling or dis-
orderly, immoral or illegal conduct or practices shall be per-
mitted to take place at or in any manner in connection with
the place for which such license is applied for; twelfth, the
applicant or each of the applicants, if there be more than one,
shall also state in such application that he or she or the firm,
association, company or corporation on whose behalf the appli-
cation is made, will not violate in any manner any of the pro-
visions of the law under which such license shall be issued
or of any law relating to the sale of spirituous, fermented or
intoxicating liquors in Baltimore County or any condition what-
soever upon which such license shall be granted and issued.
In the case of application for a brewer's license, the applica-
tion shall state the name of the person, firm or corporation
desiring such license, the location of the principal office and the
place or places of business in Baltimore County, if any, other-
wise within the State of Maryland, and the number of vehi-
cles for the delivery of spirituous, fermented or intoxicating
liquors in Baltimore County the applicant desires to operate
and for which license tags are desired to have issued. Each
said application or petition shall be verified in respect to each
and every statement above required to be therein contained by
the affidavit of the applicant or of each applicant, if there be
more than one, made before the Clerk of the Court to or with
whom the application is made or filed; and if any false state-
ment is knowingly made by any such applicant with regard
to any of the matters stated or required to be stated in said ap-
plication or in any part thereof, the applicant or applicants
who made oath to said application before said Clerk shall be
deemed guilty of the crime of perjury, and upon indictment
and conviction shall be punished as the laws of Maryland
require that crime to be punished; and each of the statements
above required to be made in said application is hereby de-
clared to be a material and essential condition upon which said
license is applied for issued and granted, and if at any time
it shall appear or be made to appear to the presiding Judge or
Judges of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County that any-
false statement contained in said application has been know-
