ing the remainder of the calendar year a working day of not
more than nine hours.

CHAPTER 148.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 831 of the Laws of Maryland,
passed at the session of the General Assembly of 1914, en-
titled "An Act regulating the shipment, transportation, de-
livery, carrying, bringing into, handling and distributing of
spirituous, vinous, fermented, malt or intoxicating liquors
or any mixture thereof, containing alcohol for beverage pur-
poses, in Caroline, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Dorchester, Som-
erset, Worcester, Kent, Cecil and Wicomico Counties, ex-
cept as herein provided and providing penalties for the
violation of the same, " in so far as it pertains or relates to
shipment of such liquors to or for bona fide residents or tax-
payers of Talbot County, and Queen Anne's County.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Chapter 831 of the Laws of Maryland, passed at the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1914, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed to the extent that the same prohibits the shipment,
transportation, delivery, carrying, bringing, handling and dis-
tributing into, or in Talbot County of spirituous, vinous, fer-
mented, malt or intoxicating liquors to or for any corporations,
firms, clubs, associations or individuals who or which are bona
fide residents or taxpayers of Talbot County and Queen Anne's
County, it being the intent of this Act that the same shall be
as lawful as if the said Act of 1914, Chapter 831, had never
been passed, but it being also the intent of this Act that the
provisions and penalties of the said Act of 1914, Chapter 831,
shall continue in full force and effect with respect to the ship-
ment, transportation, delivery, carrying, bringing, handling
and distributing of such liquors into or in Talbot County and
Queen Anne's County to or for any corporations, firms, clubs,
associations or individuals who or which are not bona fide resi-
dents or taxpayers of Talbot County and Queen Anne's County.
