be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with. amend-
ments, to read as follows:

Section 20. No person shall shoot, trap, catch or kill, or
gun or hunt for any partridge or quail, English or Mongolian
pheasant, American pheasant, dark neck Bohemian pheasant,
pheasant or ruffed grouse, rabbit, wild turkey, woodcock or
deer within the State of Maryland between the twenty-fourth
day of December and the tenth day of November in any year,
exclusive of both dates;, nor shall any person shoot, kill or
hunt for any squirrel between the twenty-fourth day of Decem-
ber and the twenty-fifth day of August, or between the
first day of October and the tenth day of November in
any year, both dates exclusive. This Act so far as it applies to
shooting, killing and hunting squirrels, shall not apply to Anne
Arundel, Talbot, Dorchester, Charles, Prince George's, St.
Mary's and Calvert Counties. Nor upon Sunday or when the
ground is sufficiently covered with snow to track the birds or
game above mentioned. And there shall be a daily closed
season on all the above enumerated game birds and game ani-
mals, with the exception of rabbits, between sunset and sun-
rise.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all general and
local laws inconsistent with any provision or provisions of this
Act be and the same are hereby repealed, and that this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 202
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1892, as
repealed and re-enacted with amendments by Chapter 237
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1894,
and as further amended by Chapter 158 of the Acts of 1902,
and by Chapter 735 of the Acts of 1912, said Chapter 202
of the Acts of 1892 being entitled "An Act to Regulate
Fishing with Hook and Line in the Waters of Back River,
Seneca Creek and Seneca River and other Waters in Balti-
more County"; the intent and purpose of this Act and effect
of the amendments herein made being to prohibit fishing
with hook and line from any boat or float in the waters of
