and control over water and ice supplies, sewerage, trade wastes
and refuse disposal as provided by Chapter 810 of the Acts
of 1914, the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars; for the
maintenance of the Deputy State Health Officers in the vari-
ous sanitary districts of the State as provided by Chapter
675 of the Acts of 1914, the sum of forty thousand dollars;
for the salary and expenses of the Bacteriologist to the State
Board of Health as provided in Section 67, Article 48 of
the Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
three thousand dollars; for the chemical examination of
suspected articles of food and drink as provided in Section
156 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, two thousand five hundred dollars; for
the expense of the State Board of Health as provided in
Section 22 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, two thousand dollars; for
the registrar of vital statistics as provided in Article 43,
Section 21-B, Volume 3 of the Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, the sum of five thousand dollars;
to the State Roads Commission for the building of State
aided roads to be expended in accordance with the provisions
of Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1910, and Chapter 121 of the
Acts of 1912, the sum of three hundred thousand dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary; to the State Reporter
for salary, three thousand dollars as provided by Section 2 of
Article 80 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland and the further sum of five hundred dollars for
clerical assistance as provided in Section 5 of Article 80 of the
Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland; to
the State Geological and Economic Survey Commission for
carrying out the provisions of Sections 19 to 25 inclusive,
of Article 91 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, the sum of fourteen thousand dollars; to the
State Board of Forestry for salaries and expenses, eight
thousand dollars; also the further sum of five thousand dol-
lars to make available a like sum of five thousand dollars
from the Federal Government under the Week's Law (Act
of Congress, March first, nineteen hundred and eleven, 36
Stat. 691) also the sum of one thousand dollars for the
protection and development of the Patapsco Forest Reserve;
to the State Tax Commission for salaries and expenses in
accordance with Chapter 841 of the Acts of 1914, as amended
by the Acts of 1916, the sum of fifty thousand dollars; to the
Maryland State Library Commission for the organization and
