thousand eight hundred dollars; for the salary of the Clerk of
the Court of Appeals, three thousand dollars; for the salaries
of the Deputy Clerks of the Court of Appeals, as provided in
Article 17, Section 43 of the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, five thousand eight hundred dollars; for
the salary of the messenger of the Court of Appeals, one thou-
sand dollars; for the salary of the crier of the Court of Ap-
peals, one thousand dollars; for the salary of a stenographer
to the clerk of the Court of Appeals, fifteen hundred dollars; for
the commissions to attorneys on claims of the State placed in
their hands for collection, three thousand dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary; for the payment of the pension of
Judge James U. Dennis, as provided by Chapter 823 of the Acts
of 1908, four thousand five hundred dollars; for the pensions to
retired Judges provided by Article 26, Section 46 of the Anno-
tated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland, twenty
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for
the salary of the Trust Clerk of the Supreme Bench of Balti-
more City, as provided by Chapter 438 of the Acts of 1896,
two thousand five hundred dollars; for the salary of the Clerks
of the two Circuit Courts of Baltimore City, as provided by
Chapter 343 of the Acts of 1912, two thousand five hundred
dollars each, five thousand dollars; to make up deficiency in
salaries of the clerks of the Circuit Courts of Baltimore City
and of the Baltimore City Court, as provided in Chapter 54 of
the Acts of 1868, four thousand dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary.

CONTINGENT FUNDS.

For the contingent fund placed at the disposal of the Gov-
ernor by Article 3, Section 32 of the Constitution, twelve thou-
sand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the
contingent fund of the State Treasurer, for advertising, station-
ery, blanks, books, expressage, telegrams, travelling and other
incidental expenses, four thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary; for the contingent fund of the Comp-
troller's Office, for printing blank licenses, protests, circulars,
warrants, books, travelling and other office expenses, six thou-
sand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the
contingent fund of the Land Office, twenty-five hundred dollars,
or so much thereof as may be necessary; for the contingent
fund of the Court of Appeals (including twenty-three hundred
dollars for Janitor's, Secretary's and Stenographer's services),
thirty-three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be
