to the county jail for a period of time not less than twenty
and not more than, forty days, but the party so committed
shall be released on the payment of the fine, costs and jail
expenses.
519. Justices of the Peace for Harford, Cecil and Kent
Counties, and the Circuit Courts for said counties, shall have
concurrent jurisdiction in all cases that may arise under the
provisions of said sections; and any person arrested on the
waters of the Chesapeake Bay, northward of the line named
and described in Section 498, for a violation of any of said
sections, may be conveyed to either Harford, Cecil or Kent
County for trial, and there tried before the proper tribunal.
520. Any person holding a license to gun for or after
wild water fowl may, during gunning season as fixed by Sec-
tion 499, be allowed to anchor or otherwise make stationary,
any sink box, sneak boat or any other vessel or craft on the
waters lying northward of the line named in Section 498,
after 4. 30 A. M. on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, prior to
the first day of January of said gunning season; and on and
after the first day of January on any Monday, Wednesday,
Friday or Saturday after 4. 30 A. M. and before the morning
of the day next succeeding each of the said days above speci-
fied; after 4. 30 A. M. on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday,
prior to the first day of January of said gunning season;
and on and after the first day of January on any Monday,
Wednesday, Friday or Saturday after 4. 30 A. M., for the
purpose of procuring a berth, and that any person holding a
license making stationary any sink box, sneak boat or any
other vessel or craft on the waters lying northward of the line
named in Section 498, shall be required to only display such
lights or signals on said craft as required by the Federal Laws
of the United States of America, governing navigation, and
any person violating this Section shall be subject to a fine of
not less than fifty dollars and not more than one hundred
dollars.
521. All boats, sink boxes, sneak boats or any other vessel
or craft used for the purpose of gunning on the waters lying
northward of the line named in Section 498, propelled by gas,
gasoline, naphtha, steam or other mechanical engines shall be
required to muffle their exhausts and subdue and suppress
other noise ensuing or emanating therefrom to such an extent
that the ducks or water fowl will not be disturbed while such
crafts are moving over or made stationary on the gunning
