the county commissioners in the name of the State of Mary-
land.

249. In every suit for the recovery of fines or of damages
under the provisions of this sub-title of this article, the clerk to
the county commissioners shall forward to the chemist, selected
under the provisions of section 243 for analysis, the numbered
sample of commercial fertilizer or bone dust deposited with
the said clerk by the party bringing suit; and the sworn report
of the analysis of such commercial fertilizer or bone dust by
the said chemist shall be received as evidence in the case.

FISH.

250. If any person using a fishery on the west side of the
Susquehanna River shall for the space of ten days after the
expiration of the fishing season, neglect to remove any putrefy-
ing pickle from the fishing shore, and cleanse the vessels used
in curing fish, or suffer quantities of fish to remain and putrefy
on the fishing shore, he shall forfeit the sum of five dollars,
and shall immediately remove such putrid fish and pickle, and
cleanse the vessel used in curing fish; and on refusal or neglect
so to do for the space of five days thereafter, shall forfeit
the sum of twenty dollars; the said penalties to be recovered
before a justice of the peace for said county, as small debts,
the one-half to the informer and the other half to the county
commissioners.

251. Fishing in the waters of Romney Creek, in Har-
ford County, in any mode or manner whatsoever, is prohibited
in the time intervening between the fifteenth day of October
and the first day of the next succeeding February in each and
every year; and it shall be unlawful for any person or persons
at any time to catch any fish in the waters of said creek with
any kind of net whatever; provided, however, that nothing
herein contained shall prevent owners or renters of farms and
lands bordering upon the waters of said creek and the owners
and renters of farms adjoining said lands, which formerly bor-
dered on said creek, but from which the shore rights thereof
have heretofore been sold, from catching fish in the waters op-
posite their said lands for the use of their own families and
employees, but they shall not make any unnecessary noise that
will interfere with any person or persons having the right to
shoot ducks or other wild fowl on the shores of said creek.

252. Each and every person violating any of the provi-
sions of Section 251 shall be subject to arrest by any person
