locate the same on said property books, and intelligently make
the transfer, and all such sworn statements shall be on each
Monday morning returned by said Clerk of the Circuit Court
to the County Commissioners and the transfers shall be forth-
with made by the Clerk of the County Commissioners upon
said property books.

227. The County Commissioners shall, immediately upon
the passage of this Act, have printed and furnished to the Clerk
of the Circuit Court blank forms showing in detail the infor-
mation to be obtained by said Clerk from persons offering deeds
for record.

228. If the Clerk of the Circuit Court shall receive for
record any deed without requiring the provisions of this act
to be complied with, he shall forfeit and pay the sum of fifty
dollars ($50) for each deed so recorded.

ELECTION DISTRICTS.

229. Harford County is divided into six election districts,
according to their present bounds and limits, and elections for
all public offices shall be held in each of said districts at the
places therein established by law for that purpose.

230. The lines between the second and third election dis-
tricts of Harford County, as now laid down, be changed, and
that the lines which shall hereafter divide said districts shall
be as follows: Beginning for the same at the intersection of
the boundary line of the second district with that of the third
district, at Haviland's Corner; thence running southerly with
the center of a private road starting at said corner, and run-
ning through the property of the late Hosa Barns until it inter-
sects the public road leading from Churchville to Aldino;
thence running westerly with the center of the public road lead-
ing from Strickland's Corner to Carsin's Run; thence southerly
with the center of the public road leading from Carsin's Run
to Belcamp; until it intersects the present line between the two
districts at Keithley's old shops; thence following said line as
it now exists.

FENCES.

231. All division fences between the lands of different pro-
prietors in Harford County, which may be necessary for their
mutual protection, shall be made and prepared at the joint and
equal expenses of the parties interested.
