tion, in case either contribute towards the building of the bridge
aforesaid, or subscribe to the stock of a company organized to
build the same as hereinbefore provided, to divide the amount
so contributed or subscribed into as many equal parts as they
may deem proper, not exceeding four, and to issue certificates of
indebtedness therefor; that is to say, for one of said parts pay-
able in one year, for another of said parts payable in two
years, for another of said parte payable in three years, for
another of said parts payable in four years; or said certificates
shall be payable at as many annual intervals as said amount is
divided into parts, said certificates to bear interest, not exceed-
ing five per cent interest per annum, until their maturity, but
not afterwards; and it shall be the duty of the County Commis-
sioners of the County where such certificates have been issued,
and they are directed, to levy upon the assessable property of
said County for the payment of the same at their maturity in
the annual levy next preceding said maturity.
CIRCUIT COURT.
158. There shall be four terms of the Circuit Court for
Harford County in each year, commencing, respectively, on the
second Monday in February, the second Monday in May, the
second Monday of September, and the second Monday in No-
vember.
159. Juries shall be summoned to each of said terms of the
Court, except the September term, and may be summoned to
the September term, if in the judgment of the Court, the public
business so requires.
CIRCUIT COURT SITTING AS JUVENILE COURT.
160. For the purpose of this Act, the words "dependent
child" and "neglected child" shall be construed as meaning any
male child living in Harford County, and being under the age
of twenty years, or any female child living in said County,
being under the age of eighteen years, who for any cause is
destitute, homeless or abandoned, or dependent upon the public
for support, or has not fit and proper parental care or guard-
ianship, or who is feeble minded or otherwise mentally de-
ficient, or who habitually begs for alms, or is found living with
any vicious or depraved person, or has a home, which, by reason
of neglect, cruelty or depravity on the part of its parent or
parents, guardian or other persons having charge of it, is an
unfit place for such a child.
