Justice of the Peace for Harford County.
"This license gives no authority to go upon private property
without permission from the owner thereof. It must be car-
ried by the licensee when gunning, hunting, trapping, or pur-
suing game, and by him exhibited upon demand so to do by
any game warden, officer, police officer, sheriff or deputy sheriff
of Harford County, or by any owner, lessee or tenant of land
upon which the licensee is gunning, hunting or pursuing the
said birds or animals at the time the demand is made, under
penalty of the fines and punishments provided for in the Public
Local Laws of Harford County, and can be used by no one
but the person named in the license; and any license found
in the possession of any one other than the person to whom it
was lawfully issued, shall be forfeited and cancelled. "
135. The several Justices of the Peace of Harford County
are hereby directed to record in a suitable book in their alpha-
betical order, the names of the persons to whom they have
issued licenses under this Act and set opposite the names of
such persons shall be a number corresponding to the number
of the license of such person; and the Justices of the Peace
for Harford County shall before issuing any such license ad-
minister to the applicant therefor an oath requiring such appli-
cant to make true answers to such questions as may be asked of
him by said Justices, pertaining to such application and license.
