by the treasurer hereinafter provided for before the levy of
1902 is closed; and all property within the corporate limits of
said town shall hereafter be exempt from taxation for public
road and bridge purposes outside of said corporate limits.

89. The Town Commissioners of Bel Air shall in each
year, after the passage of this Act, make a levy for town pur-
poses on or before the 30th day of June, and shall forthwith
place the tax lists in the hands of the treasurer of said town
for collection.

90. Town taxes shall be due as soon as they are levied,
and if not paid on or before the 1st day of September of the
current year shall bear interest from said date at the rate of
six per centum per annum on all taxes paid after the levy,
and before the first day of September of the current year a
discount shall be allowed at the rate of one-half per cent per
month, and bills shall be furnished to any taxpayer upon appli-
cation to the treasurer.

91. The Town Commissioners of Bel Air shall, before the
25th day of March, 1902, and every second year thereafter,
before said date, appoint a treasurer for the town of Bel Air,
who shall hold his office for two years from the first day of
April succeeding the date of his appointment, and until his
successor has been duly appointed and qualified as hereinafter
provided, and shall, before he enters upon the discharge of his
duties as such, execute and deliver a good and sufficient bond
to the, said town of Bel Air in the penalty of five thousand
dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties
as treasurer; said bond to be approved by the said Town Com-
missioners; and if at any time a vacancy shall occur in said
office, the said commissioners shall at once make a new appoint-
ment for the residue of the term.

92. In case any person" appointed as treasurer shall fail to
execute the bond required in the preceding section, within one
week after his appointment, the said commissioners shall de-
clare said office vacant and at once proceed to fill the same by
the appointment of a suitable person for the residue of the
term, who shall qualify as aforesaid.

93. The treasurer of the town of Bel Air shall be the col-
lector of all taxes which may be levied by the Town Commis-
sioners and shall receive all moneys which may be due said
town from any source whatsoever, and shall pay all claims
against said town when certified to him by the Town Com-
missioners, but he shall not pay any claim against said town
