out pay, and whose duty it shall be to visit the said almshouse
at least four times during the year of their incumbency of
said office, and to examine and inspect all the buildings be-
longing to said almshouse property occupied or intended to be
occupied by inmates thereof, together with the furniture and
equipment thereof, for the purpose of ascertaining how said
institution is kept and managed, and what facilities are pro-
vided for the health and comfort of said inmates, and gener-
ally, how the said institution is conducted, and whether or not
improvements can be made therein. It shall be the duty of
the overseer of the poor to furnish said board of visitors with
every facility to enable them to make thorough and complete
examination as aforesaid. The said visitors shall after each
visit report to the Board of County Commissioners of Har-
ford County the result of their inspection in writing, together
with any recommendations with reference to the care and
conduct of the said almshouse and its management which
they may see fit to make.

74. The County Commissioners of Harford County be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell all or
any part or parts of a tract of land situate lying and being
in the Third Election District of Harford County, known as
the "Almshouse Farm, " and to give a good and sufficient deed
for said tract or any part or parts thereof so sold, to the pur-
chaser or purchasers thereof; and be it further provided that
the proceeds derived from the sale of the said tract or any part
or parts thereof be turned over to the County Treasurer of Har-
ford County, to be deposited in his name as such Treasurer
and to be disposed of as by law directed.

AUCTIONEERS.

75. It shall not be lawful for any person to pursue the
business or avocation of an auctioneer in Harford County
without first obtaining a license therefor as hereinafter pro-
vided.

76. Any person desiring to pursue the business or avoca-
tion in said County shall first obtain from the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for said County a license so to do, and said
clerk shall issue said license upon the payment to him of the
sum of twelve dollars and fifty cents, which said sum shall be
paid by said clerk to the Treasurer of the Board of School
Commissioners of Harford County for the use of the public
schools of said county, after retaining therefrom the sum of
fifty cents for i?suing said license.
