WHEREAS, The Patapsco Electric Manufacturing Company
of Delaware, a body corporate, did erroneously pay to the
Comptroller of the State of Maryland, on June the 22nd,
1910, one hundred dollars ($100. 00); on May 10th, 1911,
twenty-five dollars ($25. 00), and on March 26th, 1913, one
hundred dollars ($100. 00), making a total of two hundred
and twenty-five dollars ($225. 00), as the report of the Comp-
troller will show.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrant upon the State Treasury in favor
of the Patapsco Electric and Manufacturing Company of Dela-
ware, for the sum of two hundred and twenty-five dollars
($225. 00), being the amount erroneously paid by it to the
Comptroller of the State of Maryland during the years 1910,
1911 and 1913.

AN ACT to repeal Section 283 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland of the year 1912, title
"Corporations, " sub-title "Railroads, " and re-enact the same
with an amendment.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 283 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland of the year 1912, title "Corpora-
tions, '' sub-title '' Railroads, '' be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
283. It shall be lawful for any Railroad Company here-
tofore or hereafter incorporated under the Laws of this
State to consolidate with any other Railroad Company incorpo-
rated under the Laws of this State, or any other State, or of
the United States, whose railroad within or without this State
shall, either directly or by means of intervening line of rail-
road, connect with or form a continuous line with the rail-
