1334 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 652

CHAPTER 651.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section. 4
of Chapter 113 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1914, entitled, "An Act to incorporate the
town of 'Charlotte Hall in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 4 of Chapter 113 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1914, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the three Commissioners
shall, as soon as possible after their election, choose one of their
number President, and all vacancies occurring in said Board
of Commissioners shall be filled by an election held after ten
days' notice given by the remaining Commissioners or Com-
missioner.

Approved April 18th, 1916.

CHAPTER 652.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 38
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1864
as the same is codified in Section 444 of Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland of 1910 as legal-
ized by 'Chapter 16 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1914, title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-
title "Thieves and Pick-pockets, " and as the same is also
codified in Section 783 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland as enacted by Chapter 123 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898, title
"City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Thieves and Pick-pockets. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 38 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1864 as the same is codified in Section 444 of
Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland
of 1910 as legalized by Chapter 16 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1914, title "Crimes and Punishments, "
sub-title "Thieves and Pick-pockets, " and as the same is also
codified in Section 783 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
