existing on the first day of June, in the year nineteen hundred
and sixteen, or to impair the validity of any corporate act done
or performed in accordance with the pre-existing law; and noth-
ing in this Act shall release any corporation from the payment
of any tax or the performance of any obligation to the State or
to any county or city therein due or existing on the first day of
June, in the year nineteen hundred and sixteen, or affect or
change the remedy provided for the collection or enforcement
of. the same; and nothing in this Act shall release, affect or im-
pair the rights of any creditor or creditors of any corporation
or the obligations or liability of any corporation or of any
stockholder or of any corporate officer existing on the said first
day of June, in the year nineteen hundred and sixteen, or the
remedies to enforce or protect the same.
SEC. 18. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of June in the year nineteen hundred and
sixteen.
CHAPTER 597.
AN ACT to enact additional sections to and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments certain sections of Chapter 800 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January Session thereof, 1914, as now codified in
Bagby's Annotated Code of Public General Laws as Article
101 thereof, as follows: To repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments -Section 14—sub-title "State Industrial Accident
Commission"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tion 15, sub-title "Methods of Insurance"; to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section 16, sub-title "State Acci-
dent Fund"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sec-
tion 17, sub-title "State Accident Fund"; to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section 27, sub-title "State Acci-
dent Fund"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tion 32, sub-section 41, sub-title "Application of Article—
Extra-hazardous Employments"; to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 36, sub-section 3, sub-title "Claims
and Compensation—Benefits"; to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 37, sub-title "Claims and Compensa-
tion—Benefits"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments
