CHAPTER 563.
AN ACT to authorize the State Librarian, by and with the con-
sent and approval of the Library Committee of the Mary-
land State Library, to sell or otherwise dispose of some
books and documents now in said library not deemed nec-
essary or desirable to be retained in said library and to pay
over the proceeds of such sales to the State Treasurer.
WHEREAS, It appears from a report of the State Librarian
that there are now a large number of Senate and House Jour-
nals and Documents and Laws of Maryland for some years,
also of the Codes of Public General Laws and of Public Local
Laws of 1888 and of the Public General Laws of 1904 and
ether documents and books than are necessary or desirable to
be retained in the library.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by ike General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State Librarian, by and with the consent and
approval of the Library Committee of the Maryland State
Library, be and is hereby authorized to sell or otherwise dis-
pose of such of the Senate and House Journals and Documents
and Laws of Maryland, the Codes of Public General Laws and
Public Local Laws of 1888, the Code of Public General Laws
of 1904 and other documents and books now in said library as
are in the opinion of said librarian and said committee not nec-
essary or desirable to be retained in said library.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds of any
such sales so made by the State Librarian shall be paid over
to the Treasurer of the State within thirty days after the re-
ceipt thereof.

CHAPTER 564.
AN ACT to refund to certain Corporations moneys erroneously
paid by them into the State's Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is here-
by authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of the State in favor of the following named Corporations
for moneys erroneously paid by them into the State Treasury
