wind storm, hail storm, cyclone, marine and title or mortgage
Guarantee Companies or associations, and except insurance
companies described in Sections 193 and 194 of this Article,
or insurance companies doing what is known as The Industrial
Insurance Business, upon applying for said license shall pay
to the insurance commissioner the sum of fifteen hundred dol--
lars for the same; Title Insurance or Mortgage Guarantee
Companies or Associations upon applying for said license shall
pay the insurance commissioner the sum of five hundred dollars
for the same; or if the application be made subsequent to the
beginning of a license year, then a pro rata proportion of the
said sums of fifteen hundred dollars or five hundred dollars.

CHAPTER 527.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 201,
202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 and 2. 08 of Article 43 of
Bagby's Annotated Code of 1911, entitled "Registration of
Nurses, " as enacted by Chapter 172 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland passed at the Session of 1904,
and to add and enact two new sections thereto, to follow,
respectively. Sections 205 and 207, and be designated, re-
spectively, 205A and 207A, said two new sections relating
to issuing of certificates of registration to registered nurses
of other States and the appointment or employment of a
Visiting Nurse, to> provide for State Registration of Nurses.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from time to time upon the occurring of va-
cancies upon the existing State Board of Examiners of Nurses,
whether such vacancies shall happen by reason of the expira-
tion of the terms for which the members of said Board were
appointed, respectively, or by reason of any other cause, the
Maryland State Association of Graduate Nurses shall submit
to the Governor of the State the names of five of its members
who have had not less than five years' experience in their pro-
fession; and from said list of nominations so furnished him,
or from a further list of five additional names of such mem-
bers having the same qualifications, to be furnished to the
Governor by said Association, upon Ms request for additional
names, the Governor shall appoint a member or members of
