of said County, the same to be paid to him in quarterly install-
ments.

CHAPTER 524.

AN ACT to provide for a State Subscription to Joseph's. "Con-
test of Wills, " providing for a distribution thereof and an
appropriation for the subscription.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Librarian be and is hereby author-
ized and directed to purchase in the name of the State two
hundred (200) copies of the "Contest of Wills" by Daniel C.
Joseph at Two Dollars ($2) per copy and upon delivery to
the State Library, the Librarian shall issue a certificate of the
receipt thereof, and upon the presentation of said certificate,
the Comptroller of the Treasury is hereby directed to issue his
warrant for the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) to
the order of the publisher of said edition.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the State Librarian shall
distribute these copies in the same way as the current volumes
of the Maryland Reports, provided, however, that not less than
thirty (30) copies thereof shall be retained by the State
Librarian for the future use of the State.

CHAPTER 525.

AN ACT to regulate traffic on the public highways in Baltimore

County.

SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no vehicle shall pass any street railway car
going in the same direction as the vehicle, which has stopped
for the purpose of allowing persons to enter into or alight from
said car, but shall come to a stop at least three feet from the
rear of said car.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That every wagon, car-
riage, omnibus, sleigh, pushcart, bicycle, tricycle and other
conveyance, except baby carriages, in whatever manner or by
