stricken with paralysis while a teacher in said County, and is
now incapacitated from earning a living; said pension to be
paid in quarterly instalments of Forty ($40. 00) Dollars each
during her natural life; and the said County Commissioners
of Somerset County are hereby authorized, empowered and di-
rected to levy said sum of One Hundred and Sixty ($160. 00)
Dollars, upon the assessable property of said County, for the
payment of said pension as herein provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further provided,. That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1916.

Approved March 21st, 1916.

CHAPTER 60.

AN ACT to enable the qualified voters of Loch Lynn Heights,
Garrett County, Maryland, to determine by ballot whether
bonds in the sum not exceeding Fifteen Hundred Dollars
($1, 500. 00) shall be issued by the Mayor and Council of
said Loch Lynn Heights for the purpose of completing the
sewer system of said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the question of whether or not the. Mayor and
Council of Loch Lynn Heights, Garrett County, Maryland,
shall issue bonds in the sum of not exceeding Fifteen Hundred
Dollars ($1, 500. 00) for the purpose of completing a system
of sewerage in said town, shall be submitted to the qualified
voters thereof, at the regular election for town officers on the
first Monday of May, 1916, and the ballot to be used at said
election shall have printed thereon, in addition to the names
of the candidates for town officers, the following, viz: "For
the issue of bonds" and "Against the issue of bonds, " and
shall be counted and returned as other election returns are
counted and made.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the qualified voters of said
town, desiring to vote on said question at said election, shall
indicate their choice of said proposition by making a cross
mark opposite the proposition for which they desire to register
their vote.
