for the preservation and protection of said electric lighting-
plant, and to regulate by ordinance the charges for appliances,
poles, wires and other supplies and electric light furnished to
citizens of said town and to other persons conducting or carry-
ing on business therein and adjacent thereto.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That at the next regular election
for Mayor and Councilmen of Rock Hall, to be held on the first
Saturday in May, 1914, there shall be submitted to the qualified
voters of Rock Hall the question whether bonds shall be issued
for constructing, operating and keeping in repair an electric
lighting plant for the town of Rock Hall, and at such election
the ballots cast upon that question shall have the words "For
Rock Hall Electric Light Plant Bonds," or "Against Rock
Hall Electric Light Plant Bonds," thereon, and if the majority
of the votes cast upon said question shall be "For Rock Hall
Electric Light Plant Bonds," the Mayor and Councilmen of
Rock Hall shall proceed, to exercise the power vested in them
by this Act, but if the majority of the votes cast be "Against
Rock Hall Electric Light Plant Bonds," then this Act shall be
of no effect.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 531.
AN ACT to refund to William H. Silwright certain money erro-
neously paid as collateral inheritance tax.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State of Maryland refund to
William H. Silwright the sum of thirty-six dollars and thirty-
three cents ($36.33) erroneously paid as a collateral inheritance
tax in the matter of the estate of Charles A. Silwright, deceased,
in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take-
effect from the date of its passage.
