any of the several matters set forth in said statement, to which
any person claiming to be interested therein may object; and
the said examiner or examiners shall consider all such objec-
tions and representations that may be made to any matter in
said statement, and shall make all such corrections and alter-
ations in the valuations of damages, estimates of probable cost
of opening, grading and construction, and assessments for ben-
efits and all other matters contained in such statement, as in
the judgment of the said examiner or examiners shall appear
to be just and proper; and the examiner or examiners may
adjourn from day to day, of necessary, to give all parties claim-
ing a review an opportunity to be heard, not exceeding in the
whole five days; and after closing such review, the examiner or
examiners shall award the damages and estimate the probable
cost of opening, grading and construction, and the probable
cost and expenses of the proceedings in the matter, and assess
the gross .amount as benefits in the manner provided for by
this sub-title of this Article; and the said examiner or exam-
iners shall make a statement of the same, which statement and
explanatory plat and profile shall be signed and certified by
the examiner or examiners, and deposited in the office of the
County Commissioners, and the same shall be filed by them as
one of the records of the County; the said examiner or ex-
aminers shall within ten days after depositing said state-
ment, plat and profile with the County Commissioners,
notifying all persons interested by an advertisement, to
be inserted once a week for three successive weeks in one or
more newspapers in Baltimore County, and in one or
more newspapers of general circulation, published in
Baltimore City, that said statement, plat and profile
have been deposited with the County Commissioners;
and any person or corporation that may be dissatisfied
with the award for damages or of benefits assessed, may
at any time within thirty days after the first publication of said
notice, appeal therefrom by petition in writing to the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County, praying said Court to review the
same, and the Court shall direct the Clerk of said Court to issue
a subpoena duces tecum to the County Commissioners, re-
quiring them to produce and deliver to said Court the
statement, plat and profile; and the said Court shall
have full power to hear and fully examine the subject, and de-
cide on said appeal, and the person appealing shall have the
right of a jury trial; the said Court shall not reject or
set aside the statement and proceedings of said examiner or ex-
