vided in this Act, be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convic-
tion thereof be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $50.00
and in default be confined in the County Jail for not more than
sixty days.
27-J. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts of
Acts inconsistent with this Act be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 436.
AN ACT to provide for building a new Court House at Prince
Frederick, Calvert County, and to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Calvert County to borrow money on the credit
of the County, to issue bonds for the payment of the same and
to levy taxes on the assessable property of the County, to re-
deem the bonds and to pay the interest thereon and to provide
for the removal of the present Court House and to provide for
the erection of the new Court House, and to provide for fur-
nishing the Court House, and the offices, when completed, with
light, drainage, telephone service and all necessary books,
cases and furniture.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new Court House shall be built with all the neces-
sary offices, in the town of Prince Frederick, Calvert County,
on or near the site of the present Court House; and that said
new Court House, and offices, when constructed, shall be fur-
nished with all the necessary cases, and furniture for the ac-
commodation of the Court to be held in said building for said
County, members of the Bar, and public officers and with such
other things as their convenience may require.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Thomas Parran, Wesley
Shemwell, John P. Briscoe, Ruthford B. Smoot, J. Briscoe
Bunting, William H. Dowell and John W. Jones, of Calvert
County, Maryland, be and they are hereby constituted a building
committee for the purpose of having said new Court House
erected and selecting the site therefor, upon the Court House
lot, in said town of Prince Frederick; and in the case of the
