sons, association or organized company to whom said Agricul-
tural Fair Association shall grant the privilege to perform or
exhibit on the grounds of said Pair Association during any of
its annual exhibitions.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 431.
AN ACT to add a new Section to Article 4 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland as the same was amended and re-enacted
by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Police Commissioners," said new Section to come
under said sub-title, and to follow immediately after Section
777 B, a, and to be known as Section 777 C.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, as the same was amended and re-enacted by Chapter 123
of the Acts of 1898, be and the same is hereby amended and
re-enacted by the addition of a new Section to come under the
sub-title "Police Commissioners," to follow immediately after
Section 777 B, a, of said Article, and be known and designated
as Section 777 C, so as to read as follows:
777 C. The said Board of Police Commissioners for the City
of Baltimore are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
include the Chief Engineer, two assistant engineers, and fire-
man in the Police Patrol Boat service, and those who may here-
after be employed in like capacity, within the provisions of Sec-
tion 777 of this Article, so that they may enjoy the same rights,
privileges and benefits, subject to the same limitations and con-
ditions as are therein prescribed and conferred for the retiring
of members of the police force for the City of Baltimore; pro-
vided, however, that any of the persons herein mentioned who
were in the service of the police department prior to the year
1900, shall pay into the special fund, a sum equivalent to two
per centum on the salary paid to them since the year 1900; and
any who have been employed since the year 1900, shall pay into
the special fund a sum equivalent to two per centum on the
salary paid to them since the date of employment, and for the
