shall forthwith certify such selection to the County Commission-
ers of said County. The Justice so required to perform said
duties of Police Justice shall receive the same compensation
herein provided, and shall be paid by the said County Commis-
sioners, who shall deduct the same from the salary of the Police
Justice, for whom he was serving.

SEC. 117-D. That it shall be lawful for any Justice of the
Peace of Easton District, when the Police Justice is not acces-
sible, to issue a State's writ for the arrest of any person vio-
lating any of the laws of this State, or any of the ordinances of
any of the incorporated towns of Easton District; but when so
issued, said writ shall be made returnable before the Police Jus-
tice, the said Police Justice only being authorized to try, hear
and determine criminal cases; and when said writ is so issued
and returned, the Magistrate issuing the same shall be allowed
the fee therefor now fixed by law, which fee shall be taxed in
the costs of the case and paid by Talbot County, unless the
same be adjudged against the party arrested and paid by him.

SEC. 117-E. That whenever any person shall be arrested upon
any criminal charge, or for violations of any law of this State,
or of any of the ordinances of any incorporated town of Easton
District, it shall be the duty of the officer making the arrest to
take the person so arrested before the Police Justice, if the writ
for the arrest shall have been issued by, or made returnable be-
fore him; and if such arrest is made without a writ or warrant,
it shall be the duty of said officer to take the person arrested
before the said Police Justice.

SEC. 117-F. That the said Police Justice shall file with the
County Commisioners of Talbot County on the first Mondays of
July, October, January and April, in each and every year, an
account verified by his oath or affirmation, of all fines, for-
feitures and penalties imposed by him for violation of any of the
State Laws, which said account shall show the names of the par-
ties and the fines and penalties imposed, together with the Jus-
tice's costs; and at the time of filing said account, the said Police
Justice shall pay over to the County Commissioners the amount
of all fines, penalties, forfeitures and Justice's costs so received
by him in cases where the fine is imposed for violation of any
State Law, and also all Justice's costs imposed for violation of
any ordinance of any incorporated towns in Easton District, to
be appropriated by said Commissioners as hereinafter pro-
vided. And at the same time he shall, in the same manner, ac-
