SEC. 44-A. The Lunacy Commission is hereby directed im-
mediately upon the passage of this Act, to remove all criminal
insane convicts now confined or who may hereafter be confined
in the Maryland Penitentiary and the House of Correction, and
to place the same in such State hospitals as said Commission
may deem proper.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 402.
AN ACT to pay the Minch & Eisenbrey Company, the sum of
Five Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars and Ninety-eight Cents
($538.98) for furnishing Desks, Chairs, and other equipment
for the different Committee Rooms of the Senate of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of Five Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars and
Ninety-eight Cents ($538.98) be and the same is hereby appro-
priated out of the Treasury of the State of Maryland out of
any funds not otherwise appropriated, to the Minch & Eisen-
brey Company for furnishing Desks, Chairs, and other equip-
ment for the different Committee Rooms of the Maryland State
Senate.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 403.
AN ACT making the State's Attorney for Worcester County a
salaried officer and fixing his compensation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State's Attorney for Worcester County shall re-
ceive an annual salary of fifteen hundred dollars for the per-
formance of the official duties of his said office which are now
or may hereafter be required by law, said salary to be in lien
of all fees, appearance and trial, and all other compensation,
and to be payable by the County Treasurer in semi-annual in-
