394 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the sum of ten
thousand dollars ($10,000), or so much thereof as may be
necessary, shall be paid by the Treasurer of this State upon
the warrant of the Comptroller out of the proceeds of the sale
of bonds or certificates of indebtedness, for the payment of the
expense of engraving, printing and other outlays connected
with the issue of the loan hereby authorized, and for the pay-
ment of the advertising directed by this Act, and all other
incidental expenses connected with the execution of its pro-
visions in connection with said loan.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That in order that there
shall be no delay in carrying into effect the provisions of this
Act, the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), or so much
thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appro-
priated from the Treasury proper for the year 1914 for the
carrying out of the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the actual cash pro-
ceeds of the sale of certificates of indebtedness to be issued
under this Act, shall be paid to the Treasurer of this State upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, and such proceeds shall be
used exclusively, as far as the same are required, for the pur-
poses set forth in Sections 32-A, 32-B, 32-C, 32-D, 32-E, 32-P
and 32-G of said Article 91 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, and as provided in this Act, to wit: The Comp-
troller shall immediately upon the sale and payment of said
bonds or certificates of indebtedness, first return to and credit
the Treasury proper for whatever appropriations, advances or
Joans that may have been made from the same as provided in
Section 6 of this Act, the balance of proceeds of said issue of
bonds or certificates of indebtedness to be used in the manner
and for the purposes set forth in Sections 32-A, 32-B, 32-C,
32-D. 32-E. 32-F and 32-G of said Article 91 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, and as further provided in
this Act; and the State Roads Commission shall appropriate
for use in the City of Baltimore One million six hundred
thousand dollars ($1,600,000), for a new bridge over the
Patapsco River and for paving in Baltimore City as herein-
below provided and in the several Counties of the State of
Maryland five million dollars ($5,000,000), of the funds arising
from the issue of bonds or certificates of indebtedness herein
provided; of which five million dollars ($5,000,000), the sum of
two million dollars ($2,000,000) shall be allotted to the several
Counties on the basis of County road mileage as shown in the
