SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 330-B of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County, sub-title
"Hurlock," as the same was enacted by Chapter 812 of the Acts
of 1912, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to
read as follows :

SEC. 330-B. The County Commissioners of Dorchester
County, on the first day of October in each and every year after
the passage of this Act, shall pay to the Commissioners of Hur-
lock, to be used and applied by the said Commissioners of Hur-
lock in keeping up the streets of said town of Hurlock, the sum
of f our hundred dollars ($400.00); provided, that all payments
heretofore made by the County Commissioners of Dorchester
County to the Commissioners of Hurlock for the corporate pur-
poses of said town, shall be and the same are hereby ratified and
confirmed.

Approved April 10th, 1914.

CHAPTER 259.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 85 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, Session of 1912, entitled "An Act to make
valid deeds, mortgages, bonds of conveyances, bills of sale
and all other conveyances of real and personal property, .or
of any interest, defective in acknowledgment or in the certi-
ficate thereof, or when the official character of the officer
taking the acknowledgment has not been certified to, as re-
quired by the law, or when the conveyance has not been wit-
nessed and sealed and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows:"

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 85 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, Session of 1912, entitled "An Act to make valid
deeds, mortgages, bonds of conveyances, bills of sale and all
other conveyances of real and personal property, or of any in-
terest, defective in acknowledgment or in the certificate thereof,
or when the official character of the officer taking the acknowl-
edgment has not been certified to, as required by the law, or
when the conveyance has not been witnessed and sealed," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:

SEC. 1-A. All deeds, mortgages, releases, bonds of convey-
ance, bills of sale, chattel mortgages" and all other conveyances
