repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:
SEC. 2. It shall be the duty of the Clerks of the several
Courts of Equity of this State to provide a well-bound and
suitable book, to be styled "The Claims Docket," in which
in all cases of voluntary trusts, or under decrees for the pay-
ment of debts, or in any other cases in which creditors may
prove their claims in said Court, shall be entered in alphabetical
order, the names of the creditors, the character and amounts
of their claims, and the date when proven and for such entry
the said Clerks of the several Courts shall receive the sum of
twenty-five cents which said sums shall be taxed as part of the
costs in such cases.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 242.
AN ACT to repeal Section 648 of Article 4 of the, Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables," as the same was
amended by Chapter 823 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1912, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 648 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Jus-
tices of the Peace and Constables," as the same was amended
by Chapter 823 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1912, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments so as to read as follows:
SEC. 648. If any Justice of the Peace in Baltimore City
dies, resigns or is removed, or upon the expiration of his offi-
cial term, his docket and papers shall be delivered to the Clerk
of the City Court within thirty days thereafter; provided,
however, that this Section shall not apply to any of the five
Justices of the. Peace assigned to the Peoples' Court, whose
dockets and papers shall be retained in the custody of the
Chief Constable. Any Justice of the Peace of the Peoples'
Court may issue process upon any docket of any Justice of the
