290 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Regiment Armory for the maintenance and protection of the

armory building during the fiscal year ending 30th September,

1914, and appropriating the sum of two thousand dollars per

annum for the same purpose for the fiscal years ending 30th

September, 1915, and 30th September, 1916.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of two thousand dollars be and the same
is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury of
the State of Maryland not otherwise appropriated, to the Board
of Trustees of the Fifth Regiment Armory, to be expended by
direction of said Board in the maintenance, care and protection
of the Armory Building during the fiscal year ending on the
30th day of September, 1914, the same being a deficiency ap-
propriation to supply the omission by the General Assembly
of 1912 tp make appropriation for said year; and that the fur-
ther sum of two thousand dollars be appropriated for the same
purpose for the fiscal year ending on the 30th day of Septem-
ber, 1915; and that the sum of two thousand dollars be appro-
priated for the same purpose for the fiscal year ending on the
30th day of September, 1916; and that the Comptroller of the
Treasury be and he is hereby authorized to issue his warrant
upon the Treasury for such amounts and payable to such per-
ison or persons, including therein the treasurer of said Board,
as the said Board of Trustees may from time to time require
and direct in writing for the purposes aforesaid, but not ex-
ceeding, however, the said sum of two thousand dollars for
each of said three fiscal years, the deficiency appropriation for
the current fiscal year ending 30th day of September, 1914, to
be immediately available, and the appropriations for the fiscal
years ending respectively on the 30th day of September, 1915,
and the 30th day of September, 1916, to be available during
said fiscal years.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 1st, 1914.

CHAPTER 200.

AN ACT to refund to Edward Davis, manager of the Hotel Ren-
nert, of Baltimore City, a sum of money paid in license and
which sum was paid a second time when license was issued
for the whole year.
