190 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAPTER 145.

AN ACT to divert the fund collected under the special levies of
1912 and 1913, which were authorized and made under Chap-
ter 747 of the Acts of 1912, to a purpose other than that for
which the fund was created.

WHEREAS, Under Chapter 747 of the Acts of 1912, the Mayor
and Council of Easton were authorized and empowered to levy
a sufficient sum to pay the interest on $20,000 bonds to be issued
under authority of that Act, and

WHEREAS, The bonds were not issued during those years and
no interest has accrued thereon; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Council of Easton be and they here-
by are authorized and empowered to appropriate the fund col-
lected under the special levies of 1912 and 1913, aforesaid, to
assist in the purchase of a fire engine for the use and benefit
of the town of Easton.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved March 24th, 1914.

CHAPTER 146.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 30 of
Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Concealed Weap-
ons," as the same was re-enacted by Chapter 114 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, and to add two
additional Sections to said Article 27 to follow said Section
30 and to be known and designated as Sections 30-A and 30-B.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 30 of Article 27 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-
title "Concealed Weapons," as re-enacted by Chapter 114 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
and that two additional Sections be and the same are hereby
added to said Article 27 to follow said Section 30 and to be
known and designated as Sections 30-A and 30-B, the said Sec-
tion 30 so repealed and re-enacted with amendments and said
