sion, the Secretary and employees and expenses thereof is here-
by appropriated annually for the purpose of carrying into ef-
fect all of the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the twenty-ninth day of May, 1914.

CHAPTER 842.
AN ACT to further regulate the practice of veterinary medicine
and surgery in the State of Maryland, and to repeal Chapter
59 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1896,
passed at the January Session, 1896, and to repeal Section
15 of Chapter 273 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1894, as repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments by Chapter 476 1/2 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1906, passed at the January Session, 1906,
codified as Section 150 of Article 43 of Bagby's Code of Pub-
lic Civil Laws, 1912, and to add a new Section to Article
43 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland to follow
immediately after Section codified as Section 149 of Article
43 in Bagby's Annotated Code of Public Civil Laws of Mary-
land and to be known as Section 150 of said Article 43.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 59 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland passed at the January session, 1896, be and the same
is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That Section 15 of Chapter 273
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January session, 1894, as repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments by Chapter 476 1/2 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1906, passed at the January Session, 1906, codified
as Section 150 of Article 43 of Bagby's Annotated Civil Code
of 1912, be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That a new Section be and the
same is hereby added to Article 43 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws to be known as Section 150 of said Article 43, and fol-
low immediately after the Section of Article 43 Codified in Bag-
by's Annotated Civil Code of 1912, as Section 149 thereof and
to read as follows:
