SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 129.
AN ACT to provide for the repayment to Charles C. Wilcox, by
the State of Maryland, and to authorize, empower and direct
the County Commissioners of Charles County to levy, at their
next levy, a sum of money to the use of Charles C. Wilcox,
paid by the said Charles C. Wilcox into the Treasury of
Charles County in error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of the State of Maryland be directed
to pay to Charles C. Wilcox, the sum of Seventy-eight Cents.
(.78) on account of taxes paid in error, and that the County
Commissioners of Charles County, Maryland, be and they are
hereby authorized, empowered and directed to levy the sum of
Sixteen Dollars ($16.00) to the use of Charles C. Wilcox, paid
by the said Charles C. Wilcox into the Treasury of Charles
County in error.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 130.
AN ACT to add an additional Section to Article Twenty-two of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washing-
tton County,'' sub-title '' Collectors of Taxes,'' to follow Sec-
78-A of said Article, as the same was enacted by Chapter 8
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1902, and
to be known as Section 78-B thereof, relating to the election
of a Tax Collector by the qualified voters of Washington
County, his duties, obligations, compensation and bond, pro-
viding for vacancies in said office and a collector until an
election be had under this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional Section be added to Article Twenty-
two of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wash-
