CHAPTER 118.
AN ACT to make an appropriation towards defraying the ex-
penses of maintenance and repairs of the ice-boat "An-
napolis."
WHEREAS, Two powerful ice-boats, the "F. C. Latrobe" and
the '' Annapolis,'' are kept in service for the purpose of keeping
the channel approaches to the wharves of Baltimore open at all
times throughout the ice season, and thus allowing the oyster
boats to reach the city markets and steamers to land freight and
passengers in Baltimore, and the expense of operation, main-
tenance and repairs has been borne by Baltimore City, with the
aid of an annual appropriation of five thousand dollars by the
State.
WHEREAS, One of these boats, the "Annapolis," is subject to
the orders of the Governor for any public service, and is sent
from time to time to open up to navigation the harbors along
the Bay, and in so doing add to the prosperity of the adjacent
towns and country; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal year
1915 and the like sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal
year 1916, be and the same are hereby appropriated toward the
expense of maintenance, operation and repair1 of the ice-boat
"Annapolis."
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State
shall, upon the warrant of the Comptroller of the Treasury, pay
said sums to the City Register of Baltimore City to be by him
deposited to the credit of the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, and to be drawn upon for the purposes above mentioned
only upon order of the Board of Estimates of Baltimore City.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 119.
AN ACT to amend Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
the State of Maryland, title '' Cecil County,'' sub-title '' Rising
Sun," by adding four additional Sections thereto, providing
for bonding the Town of Rising Sun to pay for water works
