to report any failure or delinquency on their part to the County
Commissioners.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 92.

AN ACT to add additional Sections, to be known as Sections
406-A, 406-B, 406-C, 406-D and 406-E, to the Code of Public
Local Laws, title Montgomery County, sub-title Plats, as said
Code of Public Local Laws was enacted by Chapter 790 of the
Acts of 1912.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following Sections to be numbered Sections
406-A, 406-B, 406-C, 406-D and 406-E be, and the same are, here-
by added to the Code of Public Local Laws, title Montgomery
County, sub-title Plats, as enacted by Chapter 790 of the Acts
of 1912, said added Sections to follow immediately after Section
406, and to read as follows:

SEC. 406-A. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery
County is hereby authorized and directed to have true and ac-
curate copies made of all the plats of subdivisions of land re-
corded among the Land Record Books of said County prior to
the sixth day of April, 1904. Said copies to be made upon
tracing-linen or parchment of the dimensions required by Section
400 of this Article, the scale upon which the original plats were
drawn to be so reduced as to allow the copy to be made of the
size hereby required; provided, however, that where it is
deemed by said Clerk to be expedient so to do, the said copies
may be made in Sections as elsewhere in this Article allowed,
when and as such copies are made they shall be inserted and
recorded in a Plat Book or Books of the same kind and dimen-
sions as elsewhere herein directed and shall become parts of the
official Land Records of said County. Upon the insertion of
said copy or copies in said Plat Book or Books, the original
plat or plats shall be removed from the Land Record Books, the
Clerk noting upon the margin of said record books the name
of said sub-division of which the plat is so removed and the num-
ber and page of the Plat Book where said copy is recorded, and
noting on the plat so inserted in said Plat Book the Liber and
