deemed or taken to modify or change in any manner the pro-
visions of an Ordinance, entitled:

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Hagerstown and Frederick
Railway Company, a body corporate of the State of Maryland,
its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain and operate
posts, poles, cables, wires and other necessary overhead ap-
paratus, on, over and along, and to construct, maintain and
operate conduits, ducts, mains, pipes, cables, wires, manholes,
distributing poles, and all other necessary underground appli-
ances on, in, under and through the streets, alleys and highways,
within the corporate limits of Frederick, for the purpose
of supplying, selling and distributing electrical power and light
in Frederick, subject to certain regulations, restrictious and
reservations.

Passed and approved by the Mayor and Aldermen of Fred-
erick, March the ninth, A. D., 1914, or the rights and privileges
granted thereby to the companies therein named or either of
them.

SEC. 6. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage, and that all Acts or parts of Acts incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the same are here-
by repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 663.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28,
29, 46, 67 and 92, and to repeal and re-enact Sections 17, 18,
31, 33, 34, 61, 62, 66, 68, 81 and 83 of Article LXV of Pub-
lic General Laws of Maryland, 1904, entitled "Militia," as
amended by Chapter 103 of Acts of 1908, Chapter 204 of
Acts of 1910 and Chapter 851 of Acts of 1912, and to add in
lieu thereof certain Sections to be known as Sections 17, 18,
20, 22, 23, 49, 50, 54, 55, 68 and 70, respectively, of the
Article aforesaid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 46,
67 and 92, of Article LXV of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, 1904, titled "Militia," as amended by Chapter
103 of Acts of 1908, Chapter 204 of Acts of 1910, and Chapter
851 of Acts of 1912, be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 17, 18, 31,
33, 34, 61, 62, 66, 68, 81 and 83 of Article LXV of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, 1904, titled "Militia," as
