to the Sheriff of Carroll county.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section eighty-one of Article
seven of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to
the Sheriff of Carroll county, be and the same is
hereby amended so as to read as follows :

Sec. 81. The Sheriff of Carroll county shall be
entitled to thirty-three and one-third cents per
day for boarding each prisoner or person commit-
ted to or confined in the jail of said county.
