provided, the amount paid therefor, in any one
year, shall not exceed the sum of one thousand
dollars, and that no out-pension shall be allowed
to any person who is not a fit subject to be receiv-
ed into the Alms House.

AN ACT to change the place of holding the Elec-
tions in the Fifth Election District of Baltimore
county.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the place for holding elections
in the fifth district in Baltimore county, shall be
at the house where Daniel Wilhelm now resides,
on the Falls Road, in said district.

AN ACT to refund to Samuel T. Hopkins and
John Donovan certain monies overpaid by them
into the State Treasury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer be and he is
hereby authorized and directed, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, to pay to Samuel T. Hopkins,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Talbot county, the
sum of two hundred and thirty-six dollars and
twenty-six cents; and to John Donovan, late Re-
