Public Local Laws, relating to Allegany county,
be and the same is hereby repealed and the follow-
ing substituted therefor :

159. He shall be entitled to thirty-five cents per
day for each prisoner committed to the jail of said
county : and for the following sums for taking con-
victs to the Penitentiary, to wit: when a single
convict is taken, forty dollars ; when two are taken
together, thirty dollars each ; when more than
two, twenty-five dollars each ; to be levied as other
county charges are.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
