shall be rendered under oath, and in such form and
shall be supported by such proofs as shall be pre-
scribed by the Comptroller; and every Register
shall render with his accounts of the expences in-
cident to his office a list of the Clerks employed by
him, stating the rate of compensation allowed to
each, and the duties which they severally perform,
and also an account of the sums paid for stationery,
official or contingent expenses, fuel and other
things, and stating the purposes for which said
expenses are applied ; and in the account of fees
there shall be a separate statement of all those fees
charged during the six months included in said
account which at the date of said account remain
uncollected.

AN ACT making appropriations for the support
of the Government, for the year ending on the
first day of January, eighteen hundred and
sixty-three.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That for the expenditures in the
support of the Government, for the year ending
on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and
sixty-three, the following sums of money, or so
much thereof as may be necessary, be and the
same are hereby appropriated, that is to say :

STATE OFFICERS.

Sums appro-
priated.

For the salary of the Governor of the State,
three thousand six hundred dollars ; for the salary
of the Secretary of the State, one thousand dollars ;
for the salary of the Private Secretary of the Gover-
nor, eight hundred dollars ; for the salary of the
Comptroller of the Treasury Department, two
thousand five hundred dollars ; for the salary of
