CHAPTER 212.

231

AN ACT to refund to Rebecca T. Neill a certain
sum of money therein named, paid by her for
composition on a patent granted to her for cer-
tain lands in Baltimore county.

10, 1862.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, to Rebecca
T. Neill the sum of one thousand and twenty-one
dollars and thirty-five cents, being the amount
paid by her for composition on a patent for cer-
tain land in Baltimore county.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 213.

 

AN ACT for the relief of Robert Clark one of the
sureties on the official bonds of Thomas C. Lyles
and William Lyles (of Thomas) former collec-
tors of Prince George's county.

7, 1862.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Robert Clark, one of the sure-
ties on the official bonds of Thomas C. Lyles and
William Lyles (of Thomas) as collectors of taxes
in Prince George's county, be and he is hereby

responsibility
on account of
bonds.

released from all further responsibility to the
State on account of said, bonds, provided however,
that the principal and other sureties on said bonds
and their property shall in no manner be released
therefrom.

Proviso.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
