Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, shall pay
the sums mentioned in sections two, three and four
of this act, to the persons who shall be appointed
by the Governor, as aforesaid.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to repeal an act making valid the-quali-
fication of John Merryman, as First Lieutenant
of the Baltimore county Horse Guards.
|
Act repealed.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the act entitled, An act to make
valid the qualification of John Merryman, as First
Lieutenant of the Baltimore county Horse Guards,
passed on the eighteenth day of June, eighteen
hundred and sixty-one, of the extra session of the
General Assembly of Maryland, chapter forty-
nine, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into effect from its passage.
