session at Annapolis, has learned with deep
sorrow of the death of Otho Scott, Esq., for
many years a member of the Legislature, and
one of the Compilers of the Maryland Code;

State has sustained in the death of one of its
prominent and useful citizens;
Therefore, Resolved by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That we recognize in the death, of Otho
Scott, Esq., that the State has lost a citizen who
had grown up with its history, and actively parti-

kind and genial character.
