fined to the same shall be released only on the or-
der of the Judge of the Criminal Court, or of the
Station House Magistrate after trial, and any Mar-
shal or Deputy Marshal or Captain, or any one
acting for or under either of them, violating the
provisions of this section, shall be subject to in-
dictment for a misdemeanor, and oh conviction
thereof, shall be sentenced or be imprisoned for
not more than two years, er to a fine of not less
than twenty dollars, and not more than five hun-
dred dollars, or be both fined and imprisoned, in
the discretion of the Court.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from James R.
Cushwa and Jonathan Loose to George Brewer,
George Feidt, Jonathan Hower and Jacob
Houck, and also to William T, Peterman,
Martin Liither Beard, Jacob Sword and Joel
Charles.

valid.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General, Assembly
of Maryland, That the deed from Jarnes R. Cush-
wa and Jonathan Loose, Agents of the German
Reformed Congregation of Clearspring, to George
Brewer, George Feidt, Jonathan Hower and Ja-
cob Houck, elders, and William T. Peterman,
Martin Luther Beard, Jacob Sword and Joel
Charles, deacons and members of the Lutheran
Vestry of Clearspring, bearing date upon the
nineteenth day of June, eighteen hundred and
sixty-two, be and the same is made valid and ef-
fectual, the same as if said deed had included the
names of the members each of the Lutheran Ves-
try of Clearspring, and had been duly certified to
by a Judge of a Court of Record and of Law, and
had annexed to such certificates the proper cer-
