shall at all times be subject to the inspection of
the Treasurer of Maryland, or of said other officer
or agent of the State of Maryland, as may be ap-
pointed or selected for that purpose, by either
branch of the Legislature.

Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That the capital
stock of the said corporation shall not exceed the
sum of two hundred thousand dollars, until an ad-
ditional capital be authorized by the General As-
sembly.

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That the Legislature
shall at all times have the right to alter or amend
this act, and the same shall continue and be in
force for thirty years from the date of its passage.

Reservation.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That the Stockhold-
ers and Directors in said institution shall be liable
to the amount of their respective shares of stock
thererein for all its debts and liabilities upon note,
bill or otherwise.

AN ACT to incorporate the Baltimore, Hall's
Springs and Harford Passenger Railway Com-
pany

8,1864.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Jonathan Norris, Thomas W.
Berry, James Young, Richard Cromwell, John S.
Thompson, Robert Moor, and Thomas H. Robin-
son, be and they are hereby appointed Commis-
sioners to take subscriptions to the capital stock of
the Baltimore, Hall's Springs and Harford Passen-
ger Railway Company hereby incorporated, and
they, or a majority of them, may cause books to be
opened at such times and places, and for such pe-
riod or periods, and upon such notice of such time,
places and periods as they may deem expedient,
and may re-open the same from time to time, for
