Sec. 19. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners, of Frederick county be and they
hereby authorized, and empowered to subscribe for
as many shares in the capital stock of said company
as in their judgment they may deem advisable, the
said subscription not to exceed fifty shares.

Sec. 20. And be it enacted, That That nothing
in this act shall be so construed as to allow said
company to issue any note, scrip, token, certificate
or other evidence of debt to be issued as currency.

Sec. 21. And be it enacted, That this act of
incorporation, shall continue in force for fifty years,
and that the, General Assembly hereby reserves
the right to alter, amend, or repeal this act at
pleasure; and that it shall take effect from the

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the
erection of State Hay Scales in the eastern sec-
tion of the city of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Governor, by and with
the advice and consent of the Senate, be and he is
hereby authorized to appoint an additional Inspec-
tor of Hay and Straw for the eastern section of the
city of Baltimore.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Inspec-
tor is hereby authorized, under the direction of the
Governor, to purchase a lot of ground in the eastern
part of the city, in that portion thereof, east of
Harris' creek, and south of Wilk street, and to
